The Sheaffer VFM is a cap-off rollerball with a tapered brass barrel and that satisfying weight you notice the second you pick it up. The ink flow is actually smooth, not scratchy like a lot of promotional rollerballs. Writes black, won't skip.

The laser imprint comes out a muted gold on the blue barrel. Not shiny, more like brushed brass. It reads well but it's subtle.
